FOR INDOOR OR OUTDOOR USE

What is a HQ sound module?
An HQ sound module is a 1.5" X 3.0" X .4" circuit board that consists of a voltage regulator, a sound chip, an amplifier, a volume control, and terminal strips.

What can this HQ Sound Module do for me?
The purpose of the HQ sound module is to bring your layout to life with sound. Imagine hearing fire engine sirens near the burning building.
Just listen.

Or how about thunder?

DT-1 Infrared Detector / Timer
For all scales
Indoor use only

Rugged high quality construction with easy connect terminal strips.

The DT-1 Infrared detector / timer can be used to activate or de-activate pretty much anything that requires a switch to close or open when the train passes the sensor. The timer circuit allows you to keep circuits on or off up to 60 seconds after the train passes the sensor.

The sensor sends out a coded signal that that powers an infrared LED.
The LED signal reflects off the train and back to the sensor, and activates the
timer / relay circuit.

It can be used in bright light, or total darkness with no false triggers.

The DT-1 internal circuit activates a DPDT relay that is rated at 5 amps.

You can even configure the the DT-1 to send a train in a direction for up to 60 seconds, and then return to the DT-1, creating a simple easy to use auto reverse back and forth system.

Use trackside, indoors.

The DT-1 should be mounted within a  few inches of the track, and raised up high enough so the sensor is above track level. You can use velcro, double back tape  or any other mounting scheme that suits you to mount the board. Wires can be run through the board or any other way you see fit. You can camouflage the board when completed, but be sure to leave the path in front of the sensor free.

Input Power: 9 to 18 volts AC or DC
Dimensions: 1" X 3.8" X .5"
Relay: DPDT
Timer: Approx. 60 Seconds
